Introduction
Real glass for the web. One WebGL material that bends light the same way on macOS and on Windows, wrapped in a single tag that works in any framework.
OpticsRefraction, colour split, true gaussian frost, light that knows its angle.
MotionSprings on size and position, jelly under a drag, light from under the finger.
MergePieces melt into one shape when they get close. You pick which ones.
LayersGlass sees the glass under it, and you choose who is on top.
Why not backdrop-filter
backdrop-filter blurs. It can't bend anything, so the edge of the element stays a flat cut. Glass here is a lens: light goes through a curved rim by Snell's law, colours split where the surface bends, and the middle stays calm.
How it stays fast
One WebGL context for the whole page. A frame is drawn only when something changes, so a still page costs nothing. Frost is computed once at a small size and reused. There are no dependencies, and the package is about 26 kB.
